Resident Safety
The TTI Guardian provides another layer of safety and security to the residents of your facility. Traditional pull cords and wired nurse call systems are fine when they are within reach; however they do not address the majority of the time when the residents are not within arms reach of the system. Enter the Guardian, a wireless personal duress system that stays with your residents wherever they are in the campus or building. In the event of a slip and fall, chest pain, medical emergency, medication request and more, a single button press can send an alert to an individual or group of staff indicating not only who sent the alert, but also where they are. Staff members can even send an acknowledgement back to the resident indicating their message was received and assistance is on the way.
Staff Communications
The TTI Guardian can also be used as an effective communications tool for staff members. Networked text messaging software allows messages to be sent from any PC on the facility network. Text messages can be sent to individuals, or to groups, along with a read receipt so the sender knows not only that the message was sent, but that it was received as well. Ideal for reaching mobile staff including care givers, administration, security, house keeping, dietary, maintenance and more. Call logs also track both messages sent and who responded.

With the TTI Guardian, family has the additional peace of mind knowing that assistance is a simple button press away. Bed and door checks help insure residents are not left incapacitated for lengthy periods; however they can still leave residents without aid for hours on end. A broken hip or heart attack can leave a resident unable to get up and beyond the reach of typical call systems. The TTI Guardian call pendant allows a resident to summon aid, regardless of their location or their ability to move.
Completely Wireless With Eeasy Installation
With existing buildings, wired systems are time consuming and expensive to install. The Guardian repeaters are completely wireless requiring no cabling and no A/C power. Designed to run for over two years before the standard alkaline batteries need to be replaced, installation is simple and inexpensive. Additional repeaters can be installed at any time to increase coverage, cover new additions, or even extend coverage to outdoor areas or between buildings. Both the two-way pager with personal alarm and the call fob operate on a long life AAA battery. The only powered component of the entire system is the Hub, which even comes with a battery back-up in the event of a power failure. In addition, there are no monthly airtime or recurring charges as with wireless carriers.
